3 ingredients Banana Pancakes

I find these 3 ingredients pancakes so satisfying to make. They will fill your kitchen with such a lovely smell and are so delicious. Also they require only 3 ingredients that are super healthy and very easy to find at your local supermarket.

How to make 3 ingredients Banana pancakes

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 banana
  • 50g oats or oat flour (any flour works as well)
  • up to 50g chocolate chips (optional)

Method (2 options)

A) with a blender

  1. Put the banana, egg and oats or oat flour in your blender and blend until it creates a smooth dough
  2. Fold in the chocolate chips if you wish to, this is optional. You can add up to 50g of chocolate chips, this will give it a bit of a sweeter taste. You can also add less than 50g for less chocolaty pancakes.

B) without blender

  1. Smash the banana in a bowl
  2. Add the egg and whisk well
  3. Add the flour and mix well until it creates a smooth dough
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips if you wish to, this is optional. You can add up to 50g of chocolate chips, this will give it a bit of a sweeter taste. You can also add less than 50g for less chocolaty pancakes.

Finishing Up

These pancakes don’t require any refined sugar to make them as they are naturally sweetened by the ripe banana. However if you feel like they aren’t sweet enough for you, you can always add a sweetener to your bather.

You can eat your pancakes with any of your preferred toppings. I personally really like them with a fresh blueberry jam on the nature ones and if I make the chocolate chips option then I eat them without any topping as I feel they are sweet enough.
